If you’re ever in doubt of how to wear a checked blazer, I’m your girl ;). I’m back in my favourite checked blazer today because there’s great news….it’s back in stock, FINALLY! You will have first seen this blazer back in August on my Instagram and it sold out so quickly, it was re-stocked and sold out again within the hour, and again a month later. But I am pleased to announce that it’s now back in all sizes so if you’ve been lusting after it since the Summer then now’s your chance to snap it up. It’s probably been my most worn blazer and most versatile piece in my wardrobe, I honestly couldn’t live without it. I bought mine in a size S as the fit is oversized so if you would normally upsize in blazers, there’s no need with this one. Just to add fuel to the fire…it now comes in brown HOLD ME BACK!
In Monday’s post I touched on the fact that Anine Bing was one of my style icons and my favourite brands, well judging from today’s post you can see why. I’m wearing her brand head to toe (minus accessories) and I’m not even sorry. I’m wearing her brand head to toe (minus accessories) and I’m not even sorry. And no, this post is not in any way sponsored by Anine Bing 😉 Her jeans fit like a dream and they are incredible quality, I have three pairs now and I absolutely adore them. The checked blazer speaks for itself and don’t even get me started on this red cashmere jumper, my excitement levels rocket every time I talk about it. I love how she puts so much thought and effort into each piece, for example all her jewellery is solid gold (I’m yet to invest in any but it’s for sure on my list) because it lasts forever, these are forever pieces not just one-offs. I personally find that the prices aren’t all that bad either for a premium brand, the cashmere jumper has been the most expensive piece I’ve bought from her and with the proper care, that will last me years. Yes it’s a brand to save for but for me it’s worth the investment.
Here are some of my other favourites from her current collection
