Our attention has been focused on Harper’s Bazaar Arabia lately, with the magazine delivering fantastic covers featuring the likes of Kim Kardashian for September and Bella Hadid for October. For December 2017, the fashion title pulls out all the stops, once again, with a spectacular cover starring Lily Aldridge. The Victoria’s Secret Angel works the lens for photographer Alexi Lubomirksi with an alluring over-the-shoulder shot. Lily wears Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2018 collection in the glitzy and festive cover image,
Our forum members loved it. “Not only better than Vogue Arabia, but also better than Adwoa [Aboah] on British Vogue [also wearing Marc Jacobs]! This is glamorous and contemporary in a [Mario] Testino way, and I like the coy stare,” wrote a pleasantly surprised Benn98.
“Congrats to Harper’s Bazaar Arabia for making Lily Aldridge look like a good model. The cover is excellent and she looks very glamorous!” declared clo.
Expressing the same enthusiasm was forum member TaylorBinque. “Now, this is glamour done right. I mean it’s not trying to be [Steven] Meisel or anything but it is absolutely eye-catching and everything works perfectly. Even Lily looks like a really really good model,” she admired.
Vogue28 couldn’t have agreed more, commenting, “Absolutely loved this the minute I saw it, and think it’s an utterly perfect cover for a December issue. Lily looks fantastic in the cover shot there, just love the use of the Marc Jacobs here and the overall festive vibe. Nice one, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia!”
“Harpers Bazaar Arabia is always stunning. The Vogue Arabia team should learn from them,” noted caioherrero.
“Stunning cover, if only it was another model instead of Lily it would’ve been perfect,” ranted boleyns, clearly not a fan of Aldridge.
“I couldn’t care less about Lily Aldridge but these comments are so confusing,” fired back russianelf. “If the cover is ‘stunning’ why do you want it to be another model? Props to everyone involved in the shoot!”
