Welcome to India! Before I get really stuck in with the destination, I thought I’d chat a little about what I packed. I knew this would be the perfect trip to cram my suitcase with maxi dresses, and colourful ones at that. If you hadn’t noticed, I always turn to Free People for my holiday wardrobe. I just learnt they are stocked at House of Fraser, which is where I picked up this floaty red number (hurrah for next day delivery – my packing is usually always done the day before flying!)
Along with a couple of other Free People styles from House of Frasers’ huge selection of dresses, I was set. With India being a conservative country when it comes to clothing, I made sure my dresses covered my knees and shoulders, and felt totally comfortable whilst out and about. Obviously this particular dress wasn’t too great at covering my cleavage, but it was perfect for dinner at one of the palaces we were lucky enough to stay at. I’m going to go into depth on all of the beautiful destinations in my next posts, but for now – I felt like a princess wandering the corridors here in Jaipur.
